Fourteen and a half cool points to whoever can figure out what song i just quoted.  

Gosh i cant believe it!!!! Six freakin' weeks into school!! It feels like its been at least eight and twelve fifteenths eternites... and I'm still fairly convinced school needs to happen less.  Snow Days!!!! Come my pretties!!!!

But life's okay.... One of my favoritestestestest people in the world turns eighteen tomorrow, and I have almost no homework, which hasnt happened in like three weeks. Not the birthday part, but, ya know, the almost no homework part. Yeah... My teachers have this strange fetish for weekend homework, which makes little puppies cry.  Yes.  The puppies are indeed sobbing.  

So now that i have made it abundantly clear that life is okay, i present to you a poem. It is somewhat depressing, but i rather enjoy it.  The same way i enjoy picking out the dispensable and indispensable characters, which most likely freaked out my English teacher today.... So! Back on track.  This is a poem i wrote in like January or February.  Somewhere in that general time period.

I'm tired of holding this imposition
Fourteen going on fourteen and a half
I may as well be that plus thirty
With the way i have to act


I don't think this is the way it should be
I grew up to fact, just like they said
What will it take for you to notice?
All you say hangs over my head


They say childhood is short 
It will leave before your eyes
That it has nothing to do with age
That it's merely a state of mind


But I want to see it leave
Not just see what's left in its wake
Don't you understand now?
I'm just a writer, not a wise sage


So yeah this is one of my less depressing ones, but, ask P Meggy, I write some creepy sad poetry.  I havent written fluffy poetry in three years so yeah....
