Here We Are Now With The Falling Sky And The Rain, We're Awakening

Sigh....I was definitely sad to wake up today in biology, but waking up metaphorically on the blog?? I'm as excited as I am about learning jazz bass techniques!! Of course, that is very excited.

This is my favorite time of year ever.  Why??  CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Christmas more than every small child in the world.  Putting up the tree with mi familia, drinking hot chocolate, walking in the cold, the occasional snow day.  I love it all!!!!

So, because i love Christmas and spreading Christmas cheer, guess what!!

CHRISTMAS CHALLENGES!!!!!!!!!!

Why yes you did read my words correctly.  Unless, of course, you read Archangel Schist Elms, in which case you should consider that you have dyslexia.

So....here is our schedule for holiday challenge-a-rama!!!!

The following stories are due by me and P Meggy on the following dates, though our readers may submit them at any time.  (Even after ChristmasGASP!!)

Due December 10th--We're starting this Christmas season off with something new....a songfic challenge with two songs.  Both Relient K songs.  "Merry Christmas, Here's to Many More" and "I Hate Christmas Parties."  Incorporate both in a story.  Make it beastly.
Due December 17th--Family-ish Christmas story.  I want it.
Due December 24th--MORE SONGFICAGE!!!! "I Celebrate the Day" by Relient K songfic.
Due December 25th--What does Christmas mean to you??  Answer that question.  As a story, as a drabble, whatever.
Due December 26th--A final songfic.  "Boxing Day" by Relient K.  Try and make us feel better now that the holidays are over.  Or not.  I might rant about America.

So why are these special??  Both me, CatCooper, and my blogmate, P Meggy, will be writing for each story.  BIG GIANT DOUBLE FEATURE!!!!!!!!!!! ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SKY!!!!!!!!!

It would be wondrously marvelous if some of our gorgeous readers would write something.  Email us a response to a challenge or just a story you've written at
